Yes I am a Geek

This year I am not going to let our christmas tree run dry. How to do this? LEDs, Solder and wire! What you ask does that have to do with water in a tree?

Water level detection! By connecting these simple items with some water detection sensor relays I have a nice simple Water Level detector. When the tree is full the Green LED comes on, when its almost empty the RED LED comes on. I added a nice yellow LED to indicate the device was on and powered.

Here is the ornament:

Here is the Schematic:

I will try and add some pictures of the sensor block later.

2 Years Old

Its hard to believe our baby girl is already 2 Years and a day old! Yesterday was the big day and we had a great time. We had a bunch of family over (yes Paul and Angela that means you :P) Jordan had a great time playing with everyone, and she really enjoyed her presents too! I will try and post some of the pictures soon, and perhaps some more enlightening commentary.

More Health Weirdness

So For those of you who don't know, Jenny has been having dizzy spells occasionally. Yesterday they got real bad, and I took her to the Doctor late yesterday afternoon. They did blood work, and gave her a prescription (which didn't do any good), and then sent her home.

Today we went back, and they did a CT scan, and gave her some fenergan (which did help) So she is sleepy now, but not dizzy. We just got the CT scan results back, and there appears to be no problems. This is probably good; it means this is likely just an "Inner Ear Virus". If this is the case it should run its course in couple of days and be done.

I appreciate people's continued prayer support! I'd also like to thank Angela Jenkins]] for dropping everything to come help out this morning; We really appreciate it immensely!

Quick Health Update

Just so everyone knows, Jenny is doing much better, the chest pain has gone away. We are still in the middle of a medicine trial, after that is done we will see if it comes back or not. We are getting ready to Head to Concord NC to help my parents move in next week, so we will be away much of the week. Thanks for everyone's support!

Fun With G.Grandma

Great Grandma AKA Grandma AKA Janet has been with us for the last week, and She and Jordan have been making great use of their time! You can see in the picture above they are having a blast playing ark (just about every morning!)
Jenny and I had fun getting ready for her stay; We put in some new french doors in the Parlor to turn it into a more comfy bedroom. We finished up the last pieces of the door/lock mechanism 5 minutes before we walked out the door to pick her up from the airport. The doors came from the Habitat for Humanity Restore They were a great deal, if they maybe took a bit more work then otherwise may have been neccesary.

What a blessing for the whole family to be able to have this time together. Three of four generations under one roof!

Recovery At Home

So today has been a slow day, Jenny has slept a lot, spending most of the day in bed or on the couch. So far she has been feeling pretty similar, but worn out from the ordeal at the hospital. Nothing much new to report other then that.

So much for the Calm Night at Home

1:29am 6/22 - We are home and getting to bed; for everyone/anyone who was up praying for us, thank you very much!!

12:41am 6/22 - The results from the CT scan are back, Jenny looks to be in great shape. We are going home, with orders to keep an eye out for worsening pain, shortness of breath, or major changes in Blood Pressure. The Dr. thinks that it may be musculature strain in the chest as opposed to anything related to the heart. If everyone would continue to pray that Jenn would heal, and nothing else would be wrong!

12:15am 6/22 - So Jenny just got weeled off to her scan. Hopefully it won't take long and we can get home! I think we are both ready for it. Will post results once she is done and we hear back!

10:45pm 6/21 - The Dr is pretty sure that it is not a blockage in arteries, They are going to perform a CT scan to rule out a number of other rare problems. After that if everything is clear, we will head home with instructions to watch the blood pressure, and some pain medication. Please Keep Praying. We are in a room with the Dr right now. Update shortly.

10:15pm 6/21 - We have seen triage and the took an EKG which came back good.

9:30pm 6/21 - Jenny has been having these pains since shortly after dinner, but had been ignoring them. After a while, she was concerned so we decided we neeed to head to the hospital.

Jenny and I are at rex as I type. Jenny has been having unexplained chest pains, and "crazy" blood pressure. If you could please pray for us we would appreciate it!
